楊偉傑

 

楊偉傑現為香港竹笛學會理事、中國音樂家協會民族管樂研究會會員、香港愛樂民樂團團員;亦曾為香港女青中樂團和香港演藝學院中樂團團員。

 

楊氏生於香港,十三歲時於英皇書院中國樂器班學習笛子。一九九八年畢業後考入香港演藝學院中樂系,主修笛子演奏,副修簫演奏,於二零零零年畢業,獲演藝文憑(音樂)。同年考入香港中文大學音樂系,師從張向華老師主修笛子、王愛雯老師副修鋼琴,於二零零三年畢業,獲一級榮譽文學士學位;亦曾隨蘇純賢老師副修二胡、廖海英老師學習鋼琴。現於香港中文大學研究院音樂學部攻讀哲學碩士,主修民族音樂學。

 

自一九九七年開始,楊氏已多次赴北京、上海、內蒙古、廣州等地深造笛藝,曾先後隨中國著名笛子演奏家李鎮、曾永清、黃金成及張維良老師學習,並得到寧保生、俞遜發、戴亞、馬迪、張延武及孔慶寶等老師指導。

 

在演奏方面,楊氏曾多次獲獎,包括一九九四年第四十六屆香港學校音樂節笛子初級組冠軍;九五年笛子中級組亞軍、簫初級組冠軍;九六年笛子高級組亞軍及簫高級組季軍;九七年笛子深造組亞軍、簫深造組季軍及笙笛二重奏亞軍。於香港演藝學院就讀期間,曾獲頒「匯豐銀行香港內地交流獎學金」和「成龍獎學金」亦曾獲香港中文大學崇基學院頒發「任白中國戲曲獎學金」和「群協堂中國音樂獎學金」;零三年再次獲頒「成龍獎學金」,零四年則獲香港中文大學文學院頒發「院長榮譽錄」。

 

楊氏亦積極參與香港的中樂活動,早於中學時期已加入香港女青中樂團;入讀香港演藝學院後,除多次於校內音樂會任笛子獨奏外,亦曾為香港愛樂民樂團音樂會任葫蘆絲獨奏,並於二零零零年六月與黃樂婷、彭康泰於演藝學院音樂廳舉行獨奏音樂會;於香港中文大學就讀期間,曾多次參與中大音樂系中樂小組音樂會,也曾獲邀為香港電台第四台之友會新年派對擔任表演嘉賓和於電台節目「樂壇新動力」接受訪問並舉行小型演奏會;零二年三月與林凱盈於中文大學利希慎音樂廳舉行琵琶、笛子、簫演奏會;零三年三月於利希慎音樂廳舉行「未圓笛聲未圓夢——楊偉傑笛子獨奏會」,並邀得台北琴園國樂團團長林谷珍老師來港擔任導聆;同年六月與方嘉寶、王靜怡於西灣河文娛中心劇院舉行「水雲月」演奏會;十月應母校英皇書院的中樂團之邀,在其三十五週年音樂會中擔任笛子獨奏;零四年三月應聘為香港管弦樂團特約笛子樂師,參與該團與林憶蓮、倫永亮演唱會之演出;七月於「草原的思念──李鎮笛子藝術展」中擔任笛子獨奏;九月與黃樂婷、彭康泰聯合舉辦「竹韻弦聲」音樂會。同年與方嘉寶、王靜怡、張曉暉成立「弦風樂匯」,於十一月和零五年五月分別假沙田大會堂文娛廳和香港大會堂劇院舉行「弦風古今匯(一)」及「弦風古今匯(二)」音樂會。

 

 

Yeung Wai-kit, Ricky

 

Yeung Wai-kit is currently an executive committee of the Hong Kong Bamboo Flute Society, a member of the Folk Wind Music Research Society under the Chinese Musicians' Association, the Hong Kong Music Lover Chinese Orchestra. He was a member of the Hong Kong YWCA Chinese Orchestra and the Academy Chinese Orchestra. 

 

Born in Hong Kong, Yeung started to learn Dizi in King’s College at the age of 13. In 1998, he entered the Chinese Music Department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Dizi performance and Xiao as his minor study. He was awarded the Diploma in Performing Arts (Music) in 2000. Soon after this, Yeung entered the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and majoring in Dizi playing with Mr. Cheung Heung-wah, piano as minor study with Ms. Wang Aywen. He graduated with First Class Honor in 2003. He has studied Erhu with Mr. So Shun-yin and piano with Miss. April Liu. He is now studying Master of Philosophy majoring in Ethnomusicology at the Graduate School of the CUHK.

 

Since 1997, Yeung has traveled to Beijing, Shanghai, Inner Mongolia, Guangzhou and various places in China to learn Dizi. He has studied with Mr. Li Zhen, Mr. Zeng Yongqing, Prof. Huang Jincheng and Prof. Zhang Weiliang, the mainland Dizi masters. Later, he received tuition from Mr. Ning Baosheng, Mr. Yu Xunfa, Prof. Dai Ya, Mr. Ma Di, Mr. Zhang Yanwu and Mr. Kung Qingbao.  

 

Yeung has won a series of awards. In 1994, he was awarded the First Prize in the Junior Section of Dizi in the Hong Kong School Music Festival. In 1995, he came second in the Intermediate Section of Dizi and first in the Junior Section of Xiao. In 1996, he won the second prize in the Senior Section of Dizi and third prize in the Senior Section of Xiao. In 1997, he was awarded the second prize in the Advanced Section of Dizi, the third prize in the Advanced Section of Xiao and the second prize in the Duet Section. He has received a number of scholarships including the HSBC Scholarship and the Jacky Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship when he was studying at the HKAPA. He has also received the Yam & Pak Scholarship in Chinese Opera and the Kwan Hip Tang Chinese Music Scholarship awarded by Chung Chi College, the CUHK. In 2003, he has awarded the Jacky Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship again and also the Dean’s List of Art Faculty in 2004.  

 

Yeung is actively engaged in Chinese music activities in Hong Kong. He became a member of the Hong Kong YWCA Chinese Orchestra when he was a student of King’s College. He gave many solo performances at the HKAPA and the CUHK. He was also a soloist in concerts organized by the Hong Kong Music Lover Chinese Orchestra and the Radio Television Hong Kong. He gave his solo recitals with Miss. Wong Lok-ting and Mr. Pang Hong-tai in 2000 and 2004, with Miss. Lim Hoi-ying in 2002 respectively. In 2003, he gave his own solo recital at Lee Hysan Concert Hall, CUHK and a recital with Miss. Fong Ka-po and Miss. Wong Ching-yee at Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre. In October, Yeung was invited by the King’s College Chinese Orchestra as the soloist in its 35th anniversary concert. In March 2004, Yeung appeared as a freelance musician of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra in the pop music concert of Sandy Lam and Anthony Lun. After that, he played as a soloist in the solo recital by Li Zhen on July. Yeung also founded Music Rendezvous with Miss. Fong Ka-po, Miss. Wong Ching-yee, Mr. Cheung Hiu-fai and presented two concerts in November 2004 and May 2005 respectively.
